About Tim:
When Tim arrived in Iowa in 1989, after receiving his degree in Computer Information Systems, his only experience with a camera was the Yashica 35mm film camera his parents had given him at age 12. After starting a graphic design and book development business in 1993, Tim had plenty of opportunity to work with some of the best architectural and interior design photographers in the country and he set out to learn from them in this new creative pursuit. By 2010, it was time to shut down the business and commit to photography full-time. At times during those 15 years, Tim has worked commercially in the areas of architectural and interior design photography, sold cameras at Christian Photo and taught classes in Photography at Des Moines Area Community College.

Tim has been working with both Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Classic since the products were in beta and he looks forward to sharing how the application of their use for your photography can help you realize your artistic goals.
